01

Children's reports

  • Export files are read in this browser. Only activity times and counts are kept.
  • Message text and contact names are not retained.
  • Each child is compared with their own patterns. Nothing is shared with another family.
  • Profiles remain in this browser, encrypted with a passphrase. The access log stays here too. You can delete everything.
  • PDF and image exports are saved on this device. They are not sent anywhere.
  • The browser stores the encrypted reports in IndexedDB and, for up to 4 hours, the key for the session open in this tab in sessionStorage. It also remembers a language you explicitly choose in localStorage, until you change it or clear the site's data. This preference contains no child's data and is not sent to an external service.
  • The structure report for an unrecognised export is generated and downloaded on this device. It describes the export's structure and is only shared if you send it yourself. Review it before sharing.

Book delivery

Controller
Patrick Wanet, patrick.wanet@vigieparentale.fr
What is sent
Your email address, the volume number and whether you selected updates. Never a child's report.
Purpose
To email you the PDF at your request and, only if you tick the box, let you know when the book is updated.
Legal basis
Your request for delivery; your consent for updates, offered to people aged 15 and over. The date and version of the accepted wording are retained as evidence. For the delivery register: the author's legitimate interest in knowing who the book was sent to and preventing abuse.
Retention
Each delivery is recorded in a register (date, address, volume) so we know who the book was sent to and can prove it: kept for 3 years, with no other messages. With the checkbox, you are also told about updates, until you unsubscribe and no more than 3 years after your last request.
Abuse prevention
A hash of your email address and connection is used to limit sends. Old rate-limit records are eligible for removal after two days; cleanup runs when the service is used.
Counter
The number of PDFs sent per volume, without email addresses or connection details.
Security
An encrypted connection (HTTPS). When the supplied server configuration is active, the browser security policy restricts connections to this site. The mailing list and counter are protected from web access by the server configuration.
Recipients
Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris), which sends emails on the author's behalf. The host, GoDaddy.com, LLC, is a US company whose servers store the mailing list. Depending on the server region, it may be hosted outside the European Union.

03

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your email address, and withdraw consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in each message, reply “stop”, or write to patrick.wanet@vigieparentale.fr.

You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.

04

What the site does not do

  • No account, advertising, cookies or external tracking tools.
  • The server retains a technical visit log for 14 days (IP address, requested page, browser and referring page) to operate and protect the site. The author uses it for basic visit counts (number, country and device type) on their own server, with anonymised IP addresses. No data is sent to a third party for these counts. The application is recorded only as a page visit: actions within it are not sent to the server.
  • “Support the project” opens an external payment service in a new tab. Payment takes place there under its own terms. This site receives neither your card details nor your address and does not send any child's report.
